Luke started his career in consulting with Cap Gemini Ernst and Young and moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2004. He has had the unique opportunity of working for several large consumer packaged goods companies. His roles within Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Ghirardelli Chocolate and Unilever allowed him to hone skills in logistics, category management, P&L management, strategy, team management and sales. Luke attended Tulane University for his undergraduate degree and later earned an MBA from the University of Arkansas. In 2014, Luke’s daughter Sloane passed away. From that experience, he is now able to give time to other parents coping with child loss. He also has a heart for community service and serves on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association. Luke approaches everything with passion, enjoys live music, is part of a Mardi Gras Krewe, loves his family, loves to travel, and is an avid foodie.
Originally from Olean, New York, Tim relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 2004. He has over 30 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, having taken on a variety of roles -- everything from engineering to product development, working supply chain, brand management and sales leadership. Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and holds an MBA from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Prior to New Nexus Group, he has worked for companies such as Cadbury Beverages, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and IRI. Tim has been married to his wife Susan for 27 years, and they enjoy live music and outdoor activities such as biking. They have three daughters, Haley, Erin, and Tara.
Deidre (Dei) is a Northern gal from suburban Philadelphia that headed south to Northwest Arkansas in 2002. She has been in the CPG industry for close to 28 years and has worked in a variety of planning and sales leadership roles for companies including Pillsbury, Heinz, Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, Cadbury, Kraft and Mondelez. She also has experience working with small companies whose goal is to make their way onto the shelves of large retailers in the Mass, Food, Drug, Dollar and Club channels. Dei graduated from Temple University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. In her spare time, Dei loves to visit her daughter, Darby, who lives in Austin, TX and works for Facebook. In addition to enjoying international travel and pursuing a healthy, active lifestyle, Dei loves dogs of all shapes and sizes and never met a pup she doesn’t want to pet.
A Little Rock native, Steven Nichols is an analytics and sales professional, with 13 years of experience with Walmart and Sam’s Club. Steven’s expertise is in business development, customer insights, syndicated data and account management. He has lived in Northwest Arkansas for 17 years and has held analytics roles at Walmart, Samsclub.com, and sales roles in the adult beverage category. Steven earned an MBA from University of Arkansas in 2013 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Arkansas. He has two young boys, Knox and Lincoln, and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. He is also passionate about traveling and is always in pursuit of great music, wine and culinary experiences.
Born and raised in Texas, Jazmine moved to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas in the fall of 2012. While earning her finance and accounting degrees, she began work with an online retailer based in Springdale, Arkansas. Jazmine has spent the last 6 years learning about eCommerce. Prior to joining the New Nexus team, she explored her passion for health through her work in the corporate wellness sector where she got to develop her relationship-building and leadership skills. Jazmine has two dogs who love to accompany her on backpacking trips, local hikes and outings to the river. In her free time, she enjoys distance running and dreams of qualifying for the Boston Marathon in her lifetime.
Replenishment and Sales Analyst
Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Trent and his family moved to Arkansas in 2001 where he has spent most of his life. In 2011 he attended the University of Arkansas (U of A) to pursue a degree in Marketing Management. While working towards his degree, Trent also spent time working for a sales consulting firm in Rogers where he discovered his passion for sales. Upon graduating from the U of A, Trent took a position with Domtar Personal Care to help support Private Label Diaper and Adult Incontinence business at Walmart. During his four years with Domtar, Trent developed a strong foundation for Replenishment, Supply Chain and Sales Analytics that he continues to build on at New Nexus. Outside of the office, Trent has a passion for hockey, tennis, fishing, live music and spending quality time with his family.
Director of Culinary Operations
Haley has been working in the food and beverage industry for over a decade. She started in front of house, working her way into the craft beer sector then circling around to working in kitchens to produce locally sourced, plant-based foods. Her roots in the Kansas City brewery scene lead her to her knowledge and love of flavor pairings. Then she followed her passion for cooking and creating palate experiences by attending and working at Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food. She has worked heavily in specialty catering events, festivals, in-house dining experiences and she teaches cooking classes through Honeycomb Kitchen Shop. She has started offering in-house cooking coach lessons to help people become more confident in their own home kitchen and curates a program for her individual clients. She is passionate about connecting with small local farmers and using vegetables that may not sell at the market. She is focusing on whole food cooking that uses the entire plant or product to help minimize food waste and create unique dishes. When not cooking, she is exploring creative work such as music, art and dance. She is also an avid tea drinker and is studying Ayurvedic medicine + herbal remedies. She believes in self-healing, conscious living, yoga and meditation, in addition to the power of connecting with nature. She also enjoys teaching, connecting with people and public speaking. She invests time in gardening and raising her pets, as well as, values her relationships with friends and family.
Director of Administration
Shari is native to Northwest Arkansas and has experienced the tremendous business growth in the area firsthand. She has been in the supply chain industry for over 12 years and has worked for large companies such as Apex Tool Group and Crane Valves North America. Shari’s finance, supply chain/logistics, and inventory management experience has assisted companies in improving their business operations, increasing sales and profits, and providing the right products to market on time for superior customer service. She studied Business Administration at the University of Arkansas. When away from the office, Shari is an artist and exhibitor and enjoys all the local art presentations and events. She owns High Pointe Performing Arts Studio along with her daughter Arissa whom she gives all credit for its high-quality programs and success. Growing up on Beaver Lake, Shari and her family spend time boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.
